What we collect

When you use Mossumi, we may process account information such as your name, email address and sign-in provider profile. We also process the things you choose to add: plant names, spaces, care schedules, watering history, notes, photos and automation settings.

Our service providers may collect limited technical information needed to operate the service, such as device, browser, log and security data.

Why we use it

We use your information to provide your account, show care reminders and timelines, store the content you ask us to store, keep Mossumi secure, respond to support requests and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information or use your plant photos for advertising.

Where it is handled

Mossumi uses selected service providers to run the app. These may include Supabase for authentication, database and storage; Vercel for hosting; Google when you choose Google sign-in; and email delivery providers for transactional reminders. They process data only as needed to provide their services to us.

Your choices

You can update or delete content in Mossumi. You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information by emailing help@mossumi.com. We may need to keep limited information where required for security, legal or operational reasons.

Cookies and similar storage

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, protect the service and remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser, although some parts of Mossumi may stop working correctly if essential storage is disabled.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information. No internet service can promise absolute security. We keep information for as long as needed to provide Mossumi, comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Children

Mossumi is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
