THE SIMPLE STUFF
Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 July 2026
These Terms explain the rules for using Mossumi, our plant-watering companion at mossumi.com and app.mossumi.com.
Using Mossumi
By creating an account or using Mossumi, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. You are responsible for activity under your account, so keep your login details private and contact help@mossumi.com if you think your account has been compromised.
Your plants and content
You keep ownership of the content you add to Mossumi, including plant details, care history, photos and notes. You give us a limited permission to host, process and display that content only as needed to run, maintain and improve Mossumi for you.
Please only upload content you have the right to use. You can remove content in the app or request account deletion.
Use it kindly
Do not misuse Mossumi. That includes trying to access another person’s account, interfering with the service, bypassing security, uploading malware, scraping the service, breaking the law or infringing someone else’s rights.
Our service
Mossumi is a reminder and record-keeping tool. Care reminders are suggestions, not professional horticultural advice. You remain responsible for decisions about your plants, equipment and automated watering setup.
We may change, pause or discontinue features when needed to keep the service secure, reliable and improving. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will post the updated version here with a new date.
Third-party services
Mossumi may rely on third-party services, including authentication providers and hosting infrastructure. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Ending access
You can stop using Mossumi at any time. We may suspend or end access when there is a security issue, misuse or legal reason. Provisions that should reasonably continue after termination, including intellectual-property and liability provisions, will continue.
Disclaimers and liability
Mossumi is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mossumi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including lost data, profits or damage to plants. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
